Title: Point of Contact
Post by: JohnP on Jun 14, 2004, 03:01:00
I wanted to see if the 'blackdrop' effect was present in my raw frames at point of contact. I scrutinized each of the individual frames & this is all I could come up with - This is a heavily processed image (colours inverted) to try & see the effect. Still not sure if it is the blackdrop or tear effect...?

Since I was photographing piggy back, I was able to watch the 3rd contact at my scope. I can honestly say that I saw no evidence of a black drop. I think your image confirms that if there was a black drop to be seen, it was extremely subtle.

I didn't see anything either and nothing came out on any of my images.
