Title: FITS Liberator
Post by: mickw on Apr 14, 2011, 15:24:03
Does FL handle colour Fits - How  ?

Black and white points are way out of whack with my latest batch, which FL seems to be able to correct.
Trouble is if I deal with the captured fits from nebulosity, FL only seems to see them and saves them as B&W even if they have been converted to colour in nebulosity.
Nebulosity sees these B&W TIFFS as colour but treats them as B&W when processing :!

Easier to put a man on the bleedin moon - supposedly

I've never been able to use the files saved by Nebulosity from Canon RAWs - I think you have to hack their headers.  Better to use the RAWs off the Canon's CompactFlash card.

Oh Fu Crap !
I suppose it's my fault really, I should have made sure I got good exposures to start off with, then I wouldn't need to fix the dodgy subs with FL.

I'll do the best with what I've got and post some pics, I'll also ditch Nebulosity
