Title: Blimey
Post by: Rocket Pooch on Mar 07, 2011, 22:47:37
Well having not imaged properly for 6 months, I had a nightmare with my OAG, so I swapped it out for the 300mm lens I used for guiding the newt.

The 8" Meade is imaging at 1.2"/pix at the moment, and thats with the camera binned at 2x2, should be interesting!

Its really still here tonight so my guiding is .004DEC .006RA and has been for the past two hours.

12more subs then RGB to do!

How do you support your QSI when attaching a lens to it, Chris?

The QSI is on the 8" Meade, the lens is piggy backed onto it with my QHY6 Guide Cam.

Hi Fay,

You can't copy it because it depends on the length of the scope and also the way the camera is orientated.  This is just an example.

What you need to do is setup the camera and the press "Calibrate" before you start guiding, this will set the parameters.
