I commented only two nights ago that I didn't remember seeing the Crab for a while. Lovely image, Julian.
Mac, my system has a problem with the link to Marks image. Is it correct?
Julian,
Very nice. It's a very tough target that one - especially from light polluted skies. Your guiding is spot on; there is no evidence of coma and there's plenty of detail in the crab. The colours are great.
Phil, try this link instead: http://forum.orpington-astronomy.org.uk/index.php?topic=4099.0
Mac, I'd completely forgotten about that image of mine!
Mark
:!
for some reason it added the link as an e-mail instead of a web link,
all sorted now.
Thanks Mac and Mark.
:P :P Yup, Marks image is much better, you can see the traffic quite clearly!
well you did well, Julian, lot of detail. The skies were not that good last night but seemed to get better as I was packing up.
