Title: Jupiter Last Saturday - 15th May
Post by: JohnP on May 20, 2004, 19:07:00
Hi All,

After getting more & more depressed seeing all the great images being posted by everyone I eventually managed to get out for an hour or so last Saturday (new babies & astronomy don't go well together!). I wanted to try & give Jupiter another go before it's lost in the twilight. Anyhow attached result (also details on my webpage). I was pleasantly suprised at the details captured as Jupiter was quite low & it had been a very hot day. You can see the GRS, white spots & green coloured festoons.

Chris has inspired me to Long Exposure modify my webcam so I can start trying for all those DSO's etc. Hopefully there will be postings soon but don't hold your breath.

Cheers,   John.
