Title: Milky Way with NGC 7000
Post by: Fay on Sep 14, 2010, 11:40:27

It was our last night & could not be out too late. I wanted a Mily Way with some land at the bottom, but guidescope was nearly pointing into the mountain, also need a wider view lens. Could not mess about, so went up to Cygnus, did not really want North American, but could not be picky.

18x240, flats, Canon 350D, Leitz @ 3.4

That looks really nice Fay.

Overall it's slightly too red.  Tone back the red but increase saturation and the Nebula will look even better  ;)

Thats great Fay, I see paws, a lions head staring across the blackness and even a tail. There's a cloud of starry dust behind it. (But then I'm not american).
