Title: M8 The Lagoon Nebula in Sagittarius

This was 22x600 ha, 15x600 OIII. Mapped as Ha as L & Red, OIII as Green & Blue ( no time for SII)

Atik 314l, ED80, processed in Astroart & PSCS. I have also done one with spikes :o

Will have a go at using Hubble palette

Fay,

You've got some great data there - technically it is a good image at a very good scale.  A very nice lagoon.

I think you're going to have difficulty getting the colours to look right though.  Probably best to play around with the colour balance until it looks "right".

Fay,
May be worth reducing the number of Ha images used for the red channel to match the OIII and SII, that may reduce the saturation in the red channel.
