A bit of an experiment this - I've added an extra dimension(!) to my previous movie. You may, or may not, find it works for you. You need to cross your eyes to make the 2 Jupiters merge into one - then you will see a spinning 3D planet with a moon going past.

Enjoy!

Works for me. Have to look at it from about 18 inches away.
that is excellent
Mac.
Stupendous. Must have taken hours, you not working at the moment or something! ;)

To create the frames for the original movie took most of the weekend. :-(
But once I had those, it took 20 minutes last night to write an IRIS script (I love IRIS!) to generate the stereoscopic ones from the originals. Loaded them up in PaintShopPro and generated the animated GIF in no time.
As the Meerkat would say, "Simples!"
Mark
Sooooooooo all I have to do is -
Learn how to use Iris
Learn how to write an Iris script
Get Paint Shop Pro
Learn how to use PSP
Oh, and learn how to take great images
Well that should ease the boredom during the rain :o
Great 3D though Mark :)
When do you think you should try the Red/Green 3D version ;)
I can create a Red/Geen version very easily - just need to write another IRIS script to generate the frames.
It'll give the observing officer an excuse to hand out the red/green specs during his presentation at the next meeting!

Will we all duck as the moon comes towards us? 8) Appropriate gasps of amazement will be in order methinks. :surprised:
I created a red/blue version last night but the effect is nowhere near as good as the original - in fact it is pretty disappointing.

I've assumed the glasses have red in the left eye and blue in the right eye.
Is there any way to put an AVI file into an endless loop?
Mark
That's great that you could do it but I see what you mean, the "filter" seems to mute the detail a bit - still amazing though.
Isn't this on and endless loop anyway ?
An AVI file would be a lot smaller but I think I would lose the endless looping.
I was thinking about putting a version on YouTube to protect the bandwidth to my site!
Oh I didn't notice it was a Gif
I thought people only put stuff on YouTube if it blows up or crashes

You arrange for Jupiter to blow up or crash and I'll video it - we'll be famous!!

Sounds like a DSC project ;)
