Title: Moon from Kelling Heath - hand held camera
Post by: Delphine on Apr 22, 2010, 10:21:06
Hi

I took an image of the moon at Kelling Heath on 17th April 2010.  I held up my Kodak EasyShare M853 camera to my 4 and half refractor telescope which had 2 x barlow plus wide angle lenses attached.

I had to stand on my tiptoes and my head was wobbling so it took a few shots to catch it.   It was a bit fuzzy so Carole very kindly applied unsharp mask to it which has improved it considerably.  Still  not as good as the actual image in the telescope though.

I am now going to try and put an image of the moon into the forum.  I have successfully put it into the gallery so here goes.  Fingers crossed!
