That looks great Fay - How does it compare with your previous attempts - would be interesting to do a side-by-side. I reckon you could stretch/ push a little more to show up all the background neb.
RGB?
Cheers, John
It is only the first run with them. will have another go when I have sorted myself out
Very nice image, as with the 106, the only thing is you need to work on the brighness scalling a little, bot are good images but look a little bright.
I like your ED120
Excellent image Fay but I would agree with John and Chris about the scaling.
very nice.
Thanks, so brightness down a tad?
Bring out more of the faint stuff and tone the core down ...
Very nice Fay. Lots of the faint stuff beginning to appear there. The "Black Beast" certainly gives a good scale.
BTW, how on earth can you put up with a gold finderscope on your shiny black refractor?
I knew you a were a man of taste, Mark, & would notice my faux pas
and I thought you were making a fashion statement...

Fay what you been upto?
In what way Chris? I am very busy at the moment, still recovering from the weekend & feel like death!!!!
I have realised I have a very nice finderscope that came with the Orion, matches SW120 just fine. So I match nicely now!
Really nice image Fay.
Thanks Mike, but i will have another go at processing, sharpen it a bit more etc
Lovley image Fay, I saw this one in the making on your laptop at Kelling and knew it would be a good one.
