Title: Ngc4565 Needle Galaxy Coma Berenices 040410
Post by: Fay on Apr 11, 2010, 20:07:12

11x480 Skywatcher 120, 0.8fr. I did do 12x600 on this one & tried to merge the two, but did not come out any better. Perhaps because the sky was not so good on both evenings. The galaxy top right is NGC4562. Hope to do some RGB.

That's very good Fay, I especially like the way you've captured those dust lanes.

Very good image Fay - I like that a lot.  You've captured a lot of detail and I love the faint fuzzies in the background.

Thanks Mark.
I have received my adaptors to connect the Leitz to the Atik/ filter wheel.
Have worked out how I will put them on the mount & have ordered another WO dovetail. As soon as it arrives I will do a test. Then I will know if I  have a problem with the short backfocus or not. If so, then I will only be able to use it with the Canon.
