Title: M101 and lots of friends

Another Tak Epsilon 180ED test.

Taken Sunday 21st March.  This is 3 hours worth of 3 minute exposures taken with a modified Canon 350D with CLS filter from the light polluted skies of Sidcup.


I took the image to test the collimation I did on Saturday.  Unfortunately there was too much star elongation caused by polar alignment & guiding issues so it wasn't a very good test.  So I've scaled it by 2/3 to mask the elongations and here is the very cropped version for anyone who's interested:

I can't wait to try this scope out under dark skies.

Always interested, Mark, good for 3 min exposures, be it 3 hours worth
