Title: Tonight (Friday) biggest full moon of the year (plus Mars)
Post by: MarkS on Jan 29, 2010, 06:57:48
Tonight is the biggest full moon of the year - 15% wider and 30% brighter than others;
See: http://spaceweather.com/

Mars is also more or less at its closest approach to Earth for this year and is in the same patch of sky:

Should also be a clear (very) frosty night.
