Not sure if I am reading correctly, but my camera is mono, am I right in saying I can get RGB image from it?

I have tried turning debayering on & then off to see if Registax will handle it, But dont seem to get a colour image whatever settings i try. I have camera setting as Y800 RGB24 or have tried Unspecified.

if the camera is mono, the only way to get colour from it is by using external filters. debayering isn't going to help much...
