Title: Jupiter With IO from a few nights ago
Post by: Daniel on Aug 31, 2009, 13:05:07
Hi All, here's a quick jupiter and IO RGB I took a few nights ago under pretty awful seeing conditions (Even Vega at zenith was fizzing like crazy) this was taken with the 12" LX200 and the DMK21AU using RGB filters.

Nice Daniel plenty of detail/ banding & festoons in that image especially for such crap seeing conditions & considering how low Jupiter is.

That's a pretty nice Jupiter you've got there.  Well done.

The Jupiter season will be very much upon us soon.
