The Yahoo QCUIAG group (Quick Cam Unconventional Imaging Astronomy Group)are holding a one technical conference on Sat 21st Feb 2004 just outside Milton Keynes. The conference will be combined with a small exhibition & observing session. Many well known people from QCUIAG are attending/ presenting as well as some well known Astro-Imagers. The conference will really appeal to anyone interested in imaging using WebCam's.
Full details for the day (including registration) can be found at:

Hi All,
I just wanted everyone to know that the Q2004 conference was a great success (although, I didn't go). Anyhow, the full proceeds of the conference including lots of video footage are available for viewing either online or for download here:
http://www.qcuiag-web.co.uk/
You need to click on the extra's tab to see the files. If you are into imaging etc. using webcams - Ian, Chris..... then there is some really useful hints & tips. Pls note if you're downloading its 450Mb - it took me an 1hr. & 5mins with my BroadBand connection so I wouldn't want to see the phone bill if you have to use dial-up. Unfortunately, I haven't got a CDW else I happily make copies for those who are interested.
Enjoy the files - it's great that a hobby can be so global & share information so willingly.
John.

I've got a copy of this and a CDR drive. I'll stick a copy in the library.
I've not yet had a chance to go through it, but it looks promising.
Ian
There is some great stuff on here.
I extracted the files with IsoBuster available from...

ISOBuster is an excellent program. Great for trying out those programs you download in ISO format before burning it to CD.
