Title: Fireworks galaxy, draft RGB to add
Post by: Rocket Pooch on May 26, 2009, 08:58:09
Hi,

Here's 14x5 minute on the fireworks galaxy, I do have RGB data to add.

That should look fantastic with colour added, you've got enough S/N to make it a really good image.

Chris that does look good & I think your best of the weekend so far (haven't seen the Iris or Vega yet). This is a beautiful galaxy & not often imaged. I love the way you can see all the background stars showing through the galaxy arms etc.

Good one & look forward to colour.

John

I'm looking forward to the colour on this one.  It already looks really good in B&W.

Really nice image Chris. You've got really bizarre diffraction spikes though.

This is a new galaxy to me and it looks lovely. Thanks for introducing it to me Chris.
