Title: Sun Prom animation
Post by: Daniel on Apr 24, 2009, 18:24:20
Took this a couple of days ago, kind of an experiment in capturing the surface detail as well as the prominence. I made an action in photoshop to process the frames which worked well, except when the prom brightness gets too much and the automatic cut and paste makes it go a little negative.

That's really good Daniel.  I like the the way the twisted sinews on the left form and move across the surface like a dust devil, and the explosive flare on the right is awesome.
