Well it is that time of year...
I picked the wrong target to start with, M53 and the faint NGC5053, I think these are the only pair of Globulars that I can fit in this field of view.
30 x 180s unguided, dithered via mount in MaximDL, Sky90@F/4.5 with SXV-H9 and Baaded Neodymium filter
M53 and NGC5053:

Had a few minutes to spare so I thought I'd grab an image of every Globular that was visible. These are quick slew + a single unguided 180s sub each. All the following have the same pixel scale and exposure so are directly comparable.

Very nice - lovely FOV's as well. You trying to complete your Mess catalog in one night...? :-) John
ok thats cool, so with the weather this week looking fantastic, I have to goto Preston!
I bet it will be nice and coudy by the weekend.
I think M3, M13 & M5 are getting well placed at the moment, so who will do the best one this week? Not me :-(
Robert,
That's certainly a successful night's imaging! They all look really good.
Mark
Robert,
I am amazed!!!!!! What a bevvy of globs! They are great

Hawes to be exact.
Bloody hell, that's a lot of work in one night, nice one!
Daniel
:O)
Thanks everyone.
Looks like you'll be in astro heaven next week Mac, I certainly hope you get some great weather.
Daniel, The last four were only a single 3min sub each so it wasn't really too much work, in fact I think all four were captured in less than 20mins . Once I'd worked out the sequence for one the others only took 10 mins each to process - no sweat for a change !
