This is 17x480 secs, Atik 314L, WOZS 66, 0.8 flats & bias, no darks
The sky was a bit better later on, but time was getting on, so did not do darks. Don't like to stay up too late as it takes too long to recover from a deathlike state in the morning!

Very good Fay, you have lots of faint fuzzies showing through and the sky is nice and inky black. Was that with no filter or flats?
Lovely image Fay, sooo many bright galaxies in a small patch of space. Will have to try this when I get my mount back, although im hoping I can still go after that supernova first!
Daniel
:O)
Well, Daniel, Robert, thankyou. I did the best I could, but feel it is not dynamic!!
I did flats & no darks, but used library bias. Wondering how it would come out with the Canon for it's chip size.
Nice & looks like you have it orientated correctly as well.... Good one - John
John, that is kind, thanks
Great image Fay.
Tony G
well Fay, I'd be chuffed with that. Lots of little galaxies that'd be easy to lose in processing :)
Good one Fay, the framing is good too.
Fay,
So many galaxies! That's an impressive image - you've captured a huge amount in one shot.
Mark
Wow Fay, that's quite deep! I like it so much, you have just inspired me to give it a go myself.
Baz.
I am amazed that you all liked my image. Thanks a lot!
Baz, I expect your version will be the wrong way round ;)

I have a specially shaped pillow for my head so I can stand on it longer.
