Title: Last Night
Post by: Fay on Apr 03, 2009, 08:21:07
Well, mount did not flash, last night. I put a heavier cable in it & connected to the 'straight through' part of the cigar connector that Robert spoke about.

I thought I would try Makarian Chain with Canon. Sky was so bad & so much dew. I had dew heaters on low & wondered why I could not find a better guide star, the scopes were well dewed up. Should have had heaters on high.
Had to wait for ages for galaxies to appear from behind a tree so did darks. Packed up, as I nearly fell asleep in the garden!!!

Never mind.

Sorry to hear of your woes Fay.  It started of promissing but ended up being a very bad night, makes me wonder whether the skies will ever be transparent again...   I've never known the forecasters to be so wrong as in the last couple of days !!

At least you seem to have the flashing mount sorted.
