Title: Layer Masks
Post by: Fay on Jan 03, 2009, 09:15:18
I have taken a selection of subs of M42. I now have to learn layer masking.

Do you stack, subtract dark frames do flat field  & do no processing until after layer masking is finished. Is processing then done on a final flattened image or separately on each layer?

Thanks

Hi,

Stack them separately as normal, align them separately for all the fames are aligned then go look at this

If you get board today I'm at home, I can run it through with you, or I'll pop over if you like.
