Rights to the celebrated documentary The Clangers are changing hands. Often mistakenly described as "a children's programme", the 1970s series revealed for the first time the existence of an advanced knitwear-based lunar civilisation, knowledge of which has subsequently been suppressed by governments and space agencies ever since.

I am not ashamed to admit I have the entire set of The Clangers (only 26 episodes were ever filmed) on DVD. When you watch them as an adult you realise really quickly that these were (intentionally or not) severely drug induced programs.
