Title: IC 1805 Heart Nebula 13x 480s ISO 400
Post by: Daniel on Sep 03, 2008, 22:27:17
Hi All, got this last night, it's not composed particularly well as I wasn't sure what I was seeing when I imaged it. Anyway, think I'll try this again with the 80ED as I had no idea it was so big and didn't quite fit in the 120.

Daniel, that is really very good! Didn't realise the sky was ok.

Hi Daniel,

That's a very good attempt at a very big and difficult object.  The ED80 and rotating the camera through 90 degrees should do it a treat..

Thanks guy's, hopefully I'll be picking up a dovetail over the weekend so i can mount the 80 as a main scope and guide with the 120.

Just had a look at the hubble images of IC1805 and I might also have a go at that core region with the SCT some time, looks beautifull

I really like this one Daniel, it is soft with so much detail & not in your face stars. Personal taste
