Title: Chasing Shadows (Lunar Eclipse early Thursday morning)
Post by: mickw on Feb 14, 2008, 12:08:35
On Wednesday, February 20, (That's Thursday morning early, for us - Rick) we're in for a celestial treat. There's a total lunar eclipse visible from North and South America as well as Europe and parts of Africa. It's a great excuse to spend time out-of-doors watching the Moon drift into the shadow of the Earth.

I dare say that means it will be chucking down on Wednesday

Great stuff - thanks for the heads up!
I'll set my stuff up; go to bed early; let the alarm wake me up in time to watch ...
