I tried putting my Mars image (MDS_MARS_16JAN08.jpg) on the gallery. It reported that the file uploaded O.K.:
Successful Uploads
1 uploads were successful.
But when I tried to add it to the gallery and hit "Continue" it complained:
The previous file could not be placed.
You have successfully placed all the files.
One other piece of information - it could not display the preview: http://gallery.orpington-astronomy.org.uk/albums/edit/preview_0cc8f6f7.jpg
Hmmm... Weird. There are several versions of the file in your area:

There's also one version in the edit area:

Was the site being particularly slow at the time?
Hmmm... Something's complaining:sh: line 1: /usr/bin/convert: No such file or directory
sh: line 1: /usr/bin/convert: No such file or directory
Apparently PowWeb decided they'd move the ImageMagick package from /usr/bin/ to /usr/local/bin/ without actually bothering to tell anyone... :(
I've cleared away the strays, made the appropriate changes, and tested an upload. It seemed Ok. Let me know if it works for you, and let me know when they break it again...
Thanks Rick. That's done the trick. I've uploaded it now. The multiple files resulted from the multiple attempts I made, including file renaming.
