Title: Software EEPROM Mod of Philips and Logitech Webcams
Post by: Mike on Dec 13, 2007, 21:23:51
If you have a Philips or Logitech webcam then try out this software. It enables you to reflash the EEPROM in the webcam to give you a RAW output mode for uncompressed images. Ideal for astrophotography :-

I've given this a go with my old Toucam Pro and it works pretty well.

if you're of the mind to, you can turn your toucam pro into a 900NC and visa versa with the software. Might be some value in it, they have different drivers...

Ian, the value for that mod is to make the ToUCam Vista complient by fooling Vista into thinking is the SPC9000 webby thingy.
