Title: Binning
Post by: Fay on Oct 27, 2007, 12:39:25
Is it correct that, if you take, say, a 600 sec binned 1x1 L image, you need only take about 180 sec each of RGB if they are binned either 2x2 or 3x3.

Would the images look the same & be the same size for combining.

Fay - if you binned them they wouldn't be the same size but when you stack/ combine in Maxim I believe it takes care of the binning... John

If for some reason it doesn't you can use Process->Double size (or resize if 3x3) to make RGB the same number of pixels as your Luminance.  I think I did have that same problem a few weeks ago and had to use that method.
