Title: M31 from Les Granges France
Post by: Rocket Pooch on Aug 20, 2007, 23:14:29
Ok, I know its big and bright, but I wanted an LRGB of it.

HX916 16x4 min lum, then RGB 5x4 minute each, the colour balance an noise need a little work, looks too green to me.

Wow - Lots going on in that image - tons of ha regions - you have held back the core from burning out really nicely - must be benefit of 16bit camera... Does look a tad green just near the edges...

This object was crying out for a mosaic. Would have been great if you had the time to do another few images - one to the right & one to the left...

Fantastic image again - looks like you trip was well worth it....

Wow that is deep!
Just a handful of the extra galactic globulars in this image Chris has taken.
