Title: The end of having to focus?
Post by: Fay on May 21, 2007, 11:52:58
Apart from reading the terrible news about the Cutty Sark, I have been reading about a device that has been invented, to enable you to focus your image, after it has been taken!

It is a special lens with 10 x the normal depth of field, it involves  a transparent slide, called a mask or coded aperture, which goes between the lens & the camera, and changes the flow of light.

Software will be put into the camera or onto a computer.
