Title: A not very impressive Saturn..
Post by: JohnP on Mar 11, 2007, 15:40:00
Went out Friday night but mount was playing up (again).. so after wasting about 3-hrs I did a quick LRGB of Saturn using SC3 & X3 barlow.. It was interesting combining images to produce colour composite.. Not particularly impressive but colours came out OK (I think). Let me know what you think?

Cheers,  John

Well I would be happy with that. I must get my Vixen re-collimated and have a go at some planets this year.

Thks Mike - I only imaged it at F16 (it was tiny) - I think to get a good image you need something like F30... You should definitely sort out the Vixen..
