Title: M82 Ha/CLS
Post by: Rocket Pooch on Mar 04, 2007, 16:57:44
Hi,

Between running to the tripod to take images of the moon I had my new setup i.e. Completely computer controlled VC200L working on M82, I wanted to capture the galaxy split, the ejecta going North South, I kinda got it, but its not 100%, I actually think at high res this is going to be a diffucult image, but here's the 1st try.

Magnificent & with a full moon as well - Good star shape & great colours - I like this a lot - M82 is a difficult galaxy to image - John

Well as discussed last night I'm going to give up on this narrow filed stuff for a while, its too hard, I'm going to do some wide field and Nebula imaging for the next year, after I do M51!!!!!

So I'll get out the 200mm lense and the ED80.....
