Title: Moon edge
Post by: Rocket Pooch on Jun 10, 2006, 01:50:03
I've never imaged the moon so low in the sky its a pain, so I had to use a 2x barlow and do a wide field to get good resolution.

That's a great picture Chris and the detail is fantastic.  Did you use a web cam + Registax or a camera?

Hi Jim,

Yes I used the web can and Registax; however, I pinned together 4 images usign iMerge by John Grove to do the mosaic.

Here's a single image of the set.

You will see this is bit a little off in ters of quality, but if you pin together a couple of inages and then shring them down they end up looking nice and sharp.
