There is a fantastic clip on the SOHO website

Hope you can see the comet passing round the sun

That's a rather large animated gif image, so if you're on dial-up you might prefer some alternatives.

You can also find SOHO images on the ESA site here:

http://sohowww.estec.esa.nl/

Follow the "The Sun Now" link inthe top left corner, or go to:

http://sohowww.estec.esa.nl/data/realtime-images.html

There you'll find images in a variety of formats, including the animated gif.

Sorry,  :oops:  if its too big for the site then take it off....(Or do I have to do that!)    I just thought it was a fantastic animation.

thats not a problem, it's just some peeps on dialup like a bit of warning ;) Certainly not going to take it down...
