Title: Wide Field - Deneb - DSC
Post by: JohnP on Aug 08, 2005, 17:14:47
Here is a wide field picture centred on Deneb. The image is 8 X 60 sec exposures taken with my EOS 300D through a 28mm lens piggybacked on top of my telescope. The colour & multitude of stars is amazing.... In fact it clearly shows one of the problems with doing visual astronomy at Headcorn - there are so many stars it's difficult to identify the ones you know.... The second image is a 800 X 500 crop of the original (full size) centred on Deneb just to show how many stars there are...!

Thks,  John.
