Hi Everyone,

I'm Sarah. I am very new to this. I have always liked the night sky. So recently I took the leap to learn more and joined the society. I'm not great with all the science stuff and I may take some time to understand what stuff means, but I'm looking forward learning more and understanding our night sky.

Kind Regards

Sarah

Welcome Sarah, it is nice to have you on the forum, as many members just use the Whatsapp Group.

Discussions on here are not disjointed by being a mix of various convsersations, and you'll learn more.

We all started as newcomers at one time, and Astronomers are the most helpful people, so don't be afraid to ask.

Hi Sarah,

Welcome to the OAS and to our forum - hopefully you will be able to attend some of the meetings held in Petts Wood

Feel free to ask any questions you have on Astronomy, which telescope to use etc

Many of our members have lots of knowledge on observing and imaging

Dave

Thank you guys. Yeah I when to both meetings last month. Enjoyed the petts wood meeting but had to leave before it was finished. It was a shame I was enjoying the topic. Looking forward to more. The meeting in Oxford was a good one to ease into as it was the first and had a good chat with Carol and the others who were there even though we couldn't do any stargazing.
