Title: North Amercian Nebula - Dwarf 3 mosaic
Post by: MarkOwens on Jul 22, 2025, 14:32:05
Final version

4 mosaic tiles from 2 different nights, each with c. 60x60s subs, making total of 255mins exposure time.

I've used Siril to:
- stack & preprocess each of the 4 images, using Dwarf3 dark, flat, bias files
- background extraction
 - astrometric colour calibration
then stitched together, and followed with:
 -  star removal (starnet++)
 -  stretching the nebula and stars separately (Generalised Hyperbolic stretch)
recombined and then:
 - sharpening / de-noising using Cosmic Clarity.

Any comments / recommendations on how to improve my process welcome.

Wow, tons better than the top part on it's own.  Well done.  You're coming on leaps and bounds.
