Title: Praying Ghost nebula VDB141 in Luminance
Post by: Carole on Sep 27, 2022, 14:49:52
Must be the worst kelling Heath Star party I have been to weather wise.  Cloud and rain and over a whole week I managed only to get 1 hour and 25 mins data.  I will now have to wait for another Astro camp opportunity to get more data.

8 x 600 secs and 1 x 300 secs - reduced time as I could see the clouds approaching and even shoved the lens cap on before the clouds got captured about 10 secs before the end of the 300 sec sub), and even worse the heavens opened too!!!

Not captured this target since 2013 and even then it was using Olly's equipment down in France so have never felt that really counted as my own image.

Made the most of the little data as I could.

Pretty impressive despite the briefness!

Ghostly halos everywhere. looks great in mono, probably more atmospheric than colour, and very Haloween.
