Title: Elephant's Trunk IC1396 HOORGB
Post by: Carole on Dec 12, 2018, 19:20:59
I took this while I was waiting for Orion to rise for my main target.

I almost didn't post this up because it was planned to be HaLRGB, but I found that did not work so well.  But I persevered and I took some Oiii data from early 2017 and made it into an HOORGB image.

Ha 10 x 600 Atik428EX/WOZS71
Oiii from 2017 9 x 300 binned 460EX/WOZS71
RGB 10 x 300 binned Atik460EX/ED80

Dual Rig on HEQ5

Combined as HOORGB
Total imaging time 3 1/4 hours

Very good!
I am impressed with your ability to mix and match data at will.

Thanks Noel.

Just a question of lots of practice over the years, plus I could not manage to do it without Registar.
