Title: M82 Crop from larger image
Post by: Carole on Apr 26, 2018, 19:34:43
I didn't pay too much heed to M82 when I processed my larger image of both M81 & M82, but today I decided to process it on its own.

As it is a very large crop the resolution is not great, but am happy I at least made a fair bit of progress since my last attempt at this target.  Background is a bit blotchy, but hoping to try to get some more data on this area next opportunity.

Luminance:
900 x 4
600 x 6
300 x 3
Various lengths to attempt IFN and preserve core of M81

RGB 3 x 150 secs binned (each)
Ha 3 x 900secs

Skywatcher 130PDS & Atik460EX, HEQ5
