Title: Cave Nebula HaLRGB
Post by: Carole on Oct 14, 2017, 15:16:33
Just when you thought it was safe, I am uploading another version of the Cave Nebula, but I am posting it up separately as it merits its own title, as I have finally managed to successfully add Ha to the red channel.

I also combined the improved star colour from the LRGB version (Using Mark's method) as I didn't want to lose that.

So In addition to the previous data of 1 hour luminance and 12.5 mins of RGB, there is an additional:
9 x 600secs Ha in this image making a total of 2 hours 42.5 mins.
Same kit, Dual rig, ED80/Atik 460EX & WOZS71/Atik 314L
HEQ5

Link to the LRGB version if you want to compare:

Looking good Carole - you are certainly getting adept with PS. I took some Ha of Cave a few years back in France (much smaller FOV) - I'll send you a link to image - I never got colour data - I'd be impressed if you could add mine as additional data to yours.. be interesting to see result if you are up to challenge..

Good job anyway - john
