Title: Jupiter, 2017-04-07-2355, Manche, France
Post by: The Thing on Apr 12, 2017, 21:13:38
My best effort of the last few clear nights. 50GB of data altogether but only about 15GB usable.

72 stacks of 35% of 2000 frames recorded in FireCapture at 50 frames per second, details below.

Stacked in AutoStakkert2!, sharpened in Registax, derotated all 72 frames in WinJupos, then a little sharpen and tweak in Registax with conversion to JPG (16bit PNG looked really funny in the web browser !:) ), looks better as a PNG though.

You've got some very nice detail there Duncan.  From my own recent efforts I know what a pig it can be to capture and process and you have done a really good job.

Well done Duncan. very nice.

Duncan, do you think my 8" Meade/ZS66/QSi will work ok on my HEQ5pro mount?

Its an option in the Settings under Logfile I think, creates a text file along with each capture video.

Yes Fay, I think it will cope, I have used my LX90, DSLR, with SW AT80 as a (rather bigger than the ZS66) guidescope without bother as long as the balance is good. Two weights are enough.
