Title: Crescent Moon - practice
Post by: Kenny on Nov 05, 2016, 22:22:55
Daylight Moon with 29% illuminated crescent. Practice re-learning to stack and process photos.

19 photos taken with a Canon 760D and Sigma DC 18-200mm lens at 200mm, ISO-800, f/13, 1/160th second.

PiPP cropped 11 (missed a setting somewhere). Stacked and wavelets sharpened in Registax. The resulting image then developed (contrast, etc) in Lightroom.

Hmmm. More practice required but the resulting image was much cleaner and sharper than any single shot so partial objective achievement.

Kenny, you can adjust this image in Photoshop to make it look like a night time image, did one myself like this a few years ago.

Looks like a nice image.
