Title: remote imaging
Post by: Ivor on Sep 22, 2016, 23:35:32
Hi,

With my observatory decommissioned my chances of imaging are significantly reduced so I'm looking at other options. There are a few remote options out there and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in coming in with me for a year of remote telescopes. A quick look at itelescope with 9 people paying £10 a month we could get access to a decent amount of sky time, curious to know how many people could be interested?

Where is it located, wouldn't mind doing some southern horizon imaging?

Itelescope has sites in Mexico and Austria, there other providers something near the Equator would be best I guess. I've also want to capture a mosaic of Bernards loop.

I'm intrigued, might be interested with a little more research.
