Title: Summer Triangle
Post by: MarkS on Aug 15, 2016, 06:16:15
I set up my camera, 35mm lens and heated dew strip on the iOptron Skytracker, looking at the Summer Triangle to try bagging me a few bright meteors.  I was disappointed that all I captured was a handful of dim ones.

So here's the Summer Triangle anyway.  110 x 15sec exposures.  Nikon 35mm lens at F5.6 on H-alpha modified Sony A7S ISO 4000.

Can clearly see NA Neb, the pelican and the Butterfly nebula, and can just about make out the tulip.

Great image.

Great image mark. I'm curious, why did you go for the iOptron and not the Star Adventurer?

The Star Adventurer didn't exist back when I bought it.
