Post by: The Thing on Aug 01, 2016, 11:23:33
Finally a clear night! Though the clouds didn't leave me alone all night. Next door had a wild party until 3am so there was music to entertain.

Image date, time and location:   2016-08-01 02:00 CET Manche, France
Telescope aperture and focal ratio:   Pentax 35-105mm Lens f4
Camera and filters used:           Canon 1000D Baader Filter, CLS-CCD
Processing applied:                   DeepSkyStacker, Irfanview, Lightzone. No calibration.

A good view of the Milky Way.  It does have a bit of colour gradient though - always difficult to remove on a widefield.

Thanks Mark and Fay.

I didn't do anything like gradient or vignetting correction. Too lazy.

It's a good result, all the same!
