Title: Transit of Mercury
Post by: Carole on May 10, 2016, 09:06:54
I had planned to do an hourly interval mosaic, but only managed the first image due to cloud.  Still at least I got something.

Baader solar home made filter (white light)
ED120 and DSLR
Stack of 2 AV subs 100 ISO

Accidentally shot in Raw forgetting that Registax won't process RAW and DSS won't stack unless there are stars, so after a big headache (DPP is supposed to convert to Jpeg, but it wasn't playing ball), I managed to stack individual frames in DSS which then converted them to Tiffs and then I stacked these two manually.  I have a further few frames to add but not had the time to do it yet.
