Title: Crescent moon.
Post by: doug on May 10, 2016, 10:17:27
Once again I am trying to image the moon, this time a crescent moon on last Sunday, 8th May. Taken with my Nikon P900 at roughly 1800mm zoom setting. I have yet to learn how to set up the camera for manual focus, aperture settings, etc. It`s a very big learning curve ....

Just hope I can get the learning curve sorted quickly......

Looking good Doug, lovely crescent. A bit underexposed though - does the camera give you any control e.g. exposure compensation? A bit brighter and you would have got the earthshine.

Well done Doug, I presume this was NOT with a telescope.

YES IT IS A VERY BIG LEARNING CURVE.

Brilliant image Doug. Beautiful thin crisp crescent. Well done.
