Title: Ha filter on ebay
Post by: Whitters on Dec 12, 2004, 07:28:00
Folks I have spotted a 1.25" Astronomiks Ha CCD filter on ebay if you are interested.

A new one on the price list shows as e119 or about £84

I'm not sure about this one myself. I have tried to do a few bids putting the price up by $1 eaach time. Every time i do so it says I have been outbid. It is far too fast for a human so someone must have set up an automated bidding system that immediately bids a higher amount than you.

Sounds dodgy to me.

Automatic bidding in action, I expect. Tried raising the bit by $1.01 instead of $1.00? Mind, if the price is going to go much higher then buying a new one would look a better bet. :/

I think the reserve's been set too high to make it worth following.

I just bought one new from BC&F and it was £88.00 delivered.

Mike, what do you want one for, you have a colour camera.  Don't you?
