I missed the close conjunction last night due to the heavy cloud but managed a widefield shot this evening.

Canon 450D. 1 second at f/8, 28mm, ISO-200.
You put me to shame, Kenny, you are so keen and dont miss an opportunity.
I'm coaching my new landlord who's a hobby photographer but interested in asrophotography. We were comparing shots and settings side by side in his back garden.
Another opportunity on Monday with Saturn and the Moon at 23:45UTC and then Tuesday evening when Jupiter and Venus are 20 arcmins apart. Unfortunately I'll be on a 6 hour ferry - I would love to have done a proper image of it.
I'll look out for that Duncan, but I have a feeling it's going to be behind the trees from my garden.
As Fay says Kenny, you don;t miss and opportunity - good on you.

I managed to get a few images of the conjunction from Hayle, in Cornwall, when we were on holiday there. Not very good but it`s my effort.....
